Questions & Answers

Does a water bed make you feel sea sick?
Absolutely not, water beds are available in a range of movement from 16 seconds movement to 1 second, it’s down to personal preference.

Can the mattress easily burst or leak?
It is definitely not easy to burst a mattress; there must be an intention to do so with a sharp implement. If a leak ever occurred and it’s unlikely, the inner safety liner contains any spillage keeping it within the bed frame.

Does the floor where the bed stands need strengthening?
The old fashioned cast iron baths on claws when full weigh 1½ times more than the largest waterbed.

Is the water temperature controlled?
Yes, the cost of keeping the bed at the preferred temperature cost less than charging a mobile phone. It may be switched down in the summer if preferred for a cooler nights sleep.

Is the bed fully guaranteed against leeks and or manufacturing problems.
The beds provided by D&B’s are the highest quality and standard and are fully guaranteed for 5 years against any factory fault.

Can I afford a water bed?
The waterbed range starts from as little as £645.00 for a hard side and £895.00 for a soft side, probably less than the price of the average quality sprung based alternative.

Testimonies

“ I have recently purchased a second waterbed to replace the one I bought from D&B’s 12 years  ago. The former bed, has provided great comfort and has continued to work without fault of any kind. I have now given it to my daughter. I can without any hesitation recommend flotation sleep, waterbeds and D&B’s to anyone. I am sure that you will find exactly the same friendly service and quality of service that I have”
